Hello, we visited the Cook Islands in September 2004 on our honeymoon.

It was awesome, it was truly a paradise. The place was so relaxing and beautiful, we can't wait to get back.
It's a little far for people from the U.S.A but it's definitely worth it.

I had plans to go whale-watching and to stay in Aitutaki, but the Reef Sub was broken and I had such a good time hanging out at Muri Beach and snorkeling at the beach by Fruits of Rarotonga that we only did a day tour of Aitutaki. Hopefully we'll come back and can visit longer on the outer islands.

We also visited Japanese Sushi Restaurant 3 times! It was great...we tried sushi platter, sashimi platter, teriyaki chicken, they were all excellent. We also loved the Edgewater's island night, the dancing was great. I heard the Staircase has a really good dance night as well but it was fully booked when we tried to go.

In closing, Rarotonga and Aitutaki were the most beautiful places I've ever seen (and I'm from California! Lots of amazing places here). I wish everyone could see them.
