For a period and the movie which I want to come to watch are "pathos"
even if I watch it how many times.
Though there are the war times as a background, there is no picture of
a battlefield, and it is a pure love story, and there are a lot of movies
which copied this movie from beginning to end.
WaterlooBridge (1940), Vivien Leigh, Robert Taylor, Lucile Watson, Virginia
Field, Maria Ouspenskaya, C. Aubrey Smith, Janet Shaw, Janet Waldo, Steffi
Duna,
Virginia Carroll, Mervyn LeRoy.
In one of the masterpiece which it makes it filmization of the second of
a classic innocent love drama, and continue being called an outstanding
love movie, it is a remake of "WATERLOO BRIDGE".
The stage is London under World War I.
British officer Cronin and dance girl Myra of ballet whom I met at "the
water roux bridge" where an air-raid alarm resounded.
While I blinked, two were attracted, and the love flared up so as to exchange
it to a promise of marriage on the next day.
However, the times tear up such two || Cronin || again || to a battlefield.
Myra who waits for his return admirably.
However, ...... which was the thing that the news that reached such her
conveyed death in battle of Cronin.
A love story to be sad beautifully of two people greeting the tragic end
by mischief of fate under the war.
This direction of the Mervyn LeRoy supervision that I have begun to picture
a sweet atmosphere in in costarring full of the romantic mood by a handsome
man beautiful woman combination of R Taylor and V Lee and diversity of
a beautiful scene.
Is a splendid work, and charm all the people who watch it with if is a
woman movie fan so that a lot of supervisors still praise it highly as
a copybook of a love movie || become interesting.
