Ika Mata Food Recipe ingredients

(one person)

fish fillets (tuna, bonito or any fresh fish) - 200g (1/2lb)
Lemon x 1 or lime x 3
1 cup of coconut cream
Salt
Vegetables - Tomato, Carrots, Cucumber, Onion, Celery

Cooking

  1. Cut fish fillets into 1,5cm(1/2 inch)
  2. Sprinkle with salt
  3. Press juice out of a lemon/lime on cut fish fillets and mix well
  4. Coconut cream pour over the fish
  5. Chop Vegetables into fine pieces and mix the fish
  6. Eat Cook Islands local food - Ika Mata
