Suwarrow was for many years the homes of hermit,
Tom Neale, who wrote of his life in the book An island to Oneself.
Today a caretaker and his family live on the atoll for the most of year,
their solitude disturbed only by the occasionally visiting yacht.
Suwarrow is now a conservation reserve.
There is no accommodation for visitors.
But you can visit only when the atoll managers need supplies or new manager's
arriving by ship.

Many visitors arrive by private yacht.
Have to talk the atoll manager in Tom Neale's old house on Anchorage Island and pay
Charge: 2 week (US$50) after each day (US$5)
